24. Gravelous Path
Cutting this gravel path,
what value do we have?
spreading the soil into every heart,
moving towards the summit of sky,
navigating through peace and love,
teaching a few things and getting to learn more.
We are just an empty soul,
waiting for someone to pour,
some love, some warmth, some emotions.
Somedays, I can't unravel,
what are people running after
in this run down path of gravel,
pretending to exist,
yet sprint through sleepless nights.
Lost in their blues but still trail the fretful truth.
And what are we running after too?
Truth that makes our dream bitter,
or the pretty lies that still tune us in this circle?
We all are walking towards an unknown destination,
with people having different faith and emotions,
some adapt while some rebel,
but everyone has to travel this path of gravel.
